Where can I get electronics for Stihl 031AV?

Hello,

Apparently the points and armature are shot in my Stihl 031AV.  I want to find the parts and install them myself.  Does anyone know where I can find the parts, either new or used, online?  I have looked at the local stores and can find nothing.  I'm in Oregon.

Welcome to the Forestry Forum.

If me, I'd just go to my Stihl dealer.

If that isn't a good option, check with sponsor Chainsawr (see left column for sponsors).

Can't file/sand the points and get them going again?

A little bit of 220 grit sandpaper goes a long way.
