The output port of the oil pump had to be clogged as I had never damaged or maltreated the saw.  I'm just lazy about cleaning it after use.  WD-40 didn't remove the clog and neither did a squirt of air into the port from my compressor.  I removed the oil from the tank.  I punched a small hole in a plastic cap that came from a mineral spirts jug bought at walmart.  The cap threads weren't the same as on the oil tank but you don't want or need a perfect fit.  I cranked the saw, turned it on its side, screwed on the cap, and squirted a bit of air into the tank.  If you use too much pressure you might damage the tank relief valve.  The pressure in the tank immediately removed the clog and oil came out the port.  After refilling the oil tank, I recranked the saw and the oiler worked just as it should.  This was much easier than dis-/reassembly of that masterpiece of German over-engineering.
