Hello,
Come join is for our semi annual open house in Shade Gap, Pennsylvania
Our location is 22638 Croghan Pike Shade Gap, PA 17255
Saturday April 25 9 am till 2 pm
Wood Mizer equipment on display and running.
Lunch and door prizes at noon

We will have the new WM BMST50 single tooth sharpener and setter in operation.

We will also be available on Friday April 24 from 3 pm till 5 pm as a pre open house time if there is something you would like to see operate.

Timbery portable sawmills will also be available for demonstrations.

Hello,
Yes we had 55 owners here today.

Sawed Osage Orange,  Hemlock and Maple.  quarter sawed a Red Oak.
Covered topics like  Scaling the log with Doyle, Scribner and International. Log bucking
The top 10 reasons why my mill will not cut.
Number 10 is B.O.B   Blade on Backwards. If you do this you may need to take a few days off or time for vacation.
We sawed the Maple log and we sawed FAST and SLOW talked about sawdust and how it may effect the cut. Reviewed stress and reaction wood on the Maple. Lube for the blade and when, why and how much.
Mill maintenance and alignment. Hands on.

We will have another training day in October.
I will post some pictures if you are interested.

Yes we had food! The Shade Gap Area Fire Company provided lunch. Chicken, mash taters, gravy with meat, cole slaw, cake.
