is there a way to test auto trannys for skidders out of the skidder

 :D  i figured you had some crazy story about travelling down to the city last weekend or something.  :D

I am no authority on transmission mechanics whatsoever.  The only tests I've ever read for a reverser trans on a backhoe loader involved a pressure gauge on various ports with the trans at stall.

I'm thinking on a mechanical trans without either a engine or dynamometer testing will be difficult.
