Very cool. That finish on there looks like a major investment.

 Are you using PEG on them to keep them from cracking?

What are those white things on some of them?

The white things are fluorescent shop lights. I treated them with pentacryl, and finished them with epoxy.

The same place I got my little bitty chainsaw.

How'd you get the lights to work in the cookies without wires sticking out?

Great looking cookies. We need a post about how you treat them, dry them, and finish them. My cookies always come out looking like a pie missing a slice.

Echo what 21incher said;
Can you share the treating, drying and finishing details . . . ?
Wondering if the pentacryl works better than polyethylene glycol, have you tried both?
Does the treatment change the finish on the cookies, can you use most any epoxy type or have you used the 'bar-top' pour on type cause it works better? Have you tried it with big biscuits, say 16 to 30 inchers?
Curious minds are working out here!  :D

These are around 14" or 15". And as far as the treating and drying... I just brushed on the pentacryl until it quit getting absorbed, let the surface dry out, and then poured the "bar-top" epoxy on it. I figure the epoxy will slow down the moisture loss quite a bit. Ill let you know how they come out in a few months.

Those are reflective lights. When you turn on the overhead ones they come on. They don't use as much elec as the overhead one. bg
