While home sick with the flu I've tried to at least be a little productive. I've research blades & potential supplies of coil stock and any way I could save a few pennies on blades related expenses.

I found a guy who says he has "new" blade called the "ripper S" made by Dakin-Flathers. This is not the "ripper 37" blade but a general purpose blade that is on the lower end cost wise.

The Dakin-Flathers site has no info or even a mention of this blade.

Has anyone here ever heard of it? If so, any feedback?

I tried some, cut pretty good  but don't stay sharp very long compared to the Simonds I normally run.   Steve
