I am interested in putting a cold weather start system on my 05 648G111. While I crank the engine over I turn the steering wheel from side to side which helps greatly. I was thinking about putting the driveshaft disconnect system on, that way I am not turning over the tranny and hydraulic pump and I was wondering if anyone has ever used one of these. I've about had it with this winter.

I have an 06 that is the same way. If it doesn't hit the first few cranks you might as well forget it. I wish john deeres started as good as my cummins in the boom when its cold.
