any opinions on this attachment that goes on end of chainsaw bar for peeling logs?

Welcome aboard revid. I have never used a log wizard, though seems to me if the blades are sharp it should be effective.

yes i have one. a few years back we built on to the house.being a log cabin i needed spruce purlins. i debarked and shaped them. it worked pretty good. you have to drill a couple holes in the bar to bolt it on.

I have a buddy that used this rig to build a 2000 sq ft, 20 foot tall garage out of logs that he trimmed with this unit.  He swears by it.
I wouldn't mind having one, but it would just be another toy for me.
When it comes to keeping old 2 cycle engines running, it seems that luck is more important than skill.
