Bandsaw sawmill build - the base

My base is done enough for a trial.  I think power feed of the saw head and a lift for tapered logs will be first after I see how this goes.
Base is 2 - 6" x 18" x 20' pressure treated bridge timbers.

The log dog - The clamp holds the dog position both horizontally and vertically with one bolt.  Bolt has big 'X' to use with gloved hands or with a cheater pipe to snug it down.

It is an interesting looking build.  I like your clamp and dog set up.  I had originally planed to build mine with a wood frame as well but had some steel trusses given to me so used them instead.

Here is a close up, sorry I didn't post it earlier.  It took me a long time to figure out exactly how to make it work the way I had in mind.
