I just bought a 1" impact and half in line I want 1/2" pipe thread couplings. Would hydraulic couplings work? I have them.

I think i have 3/4 line going to 1in impact gun  :-\

Your saying the half isn't big enough? I think it has half npt on the gun. Maybe not. I'll check.

Just because the impact has a 1/2 inch fitting doesn't mean a 1/2 inch line will supply enough volume. A 1/2 inch line will work but to get the full potential of a 1 inch impact it should have a 3/4 inch line.

Yep, definitely  use 3/4 to get maximum torque.
Make sure you know how to fall properly when you fall and as to not hurt anyone around you.
Also remember, it's not the fall what hurts, its the sudden stop. !!

Ok. Well they didn't have a 3/4". I'll have to find one if it don't work good.

I use 1/2" hose for the 1" gun, it works perfectly.

I have 4 set ups using 1/2 " coupling  and 1/2 " air line and have never had a problem using them but I am using high CFM air compressor also.
