I Got a 8"x12"x 26' beam out of this and went to pick it up off the mill, just cot the thing arg-smiley arg-smiley arg-smiley

Yup you bone headed that one nice there Pete ;D :o
A piece of pipe, some heat and a square and no one will know.
With all the sawing you do your bound to have the odd catch here and there.

I got one, but I'm not going to show it :D  nailed my lift arm way back with the fork, it happens..
only have a few chain saws I'm not suppose to use, but will at times, one dog Dolly, pretty good dog, just not sure what for yet,  working on getting the gardening back in order, and kinda thinking on maybe a small bbq bizz,  thinking about it,

I refer to myself as ''Grandpa Bonehead'' when i do something like that to distinguish myself.Takes a big man to put it right out there ,Peter.It coulda been a lot worse.

You know, now after looking at the angle of the bend,, I bet it rocked a little bit :D :D :D  I bet there was some mumbling going on at that moment :D :D

The arm was next to the main frame,  I was in a hurry and the tip of the fork caught the arm , And when you pull for the forks to come back John don't care, The forks come back ,  :D :D :D

At least you can steal one off the far end of the extension until the new part comes. The same part on my extension has no stainless bed sleeve for that same reason. :D I'm glad you didn't flip it over. When I pick slabs in front of the loading arms, sometimes the forks just catch that round tube. The LULL really doesn't care what is on there, and it wouldn't take much to catapult the mill onto it's back. :o

I really, really don't like loading or unloading my mill with a machine. I've had some close calls and almost did what Peter did.

Take the bolt out of the free end of the rail and let John push it back down. ;) Don't ask how I know.

I always feel better fixing something when I break it myself. if someone else was running the machine and broke it , it makes the job that much harder knowing I didn't break it in the first place.
