Been a nightmare removing the transmission and replacing the seized top shaft. Then replaced the oil/charge pump in tranny and still no joy. Worked fine before the gear seized on top shaft. Even when cluth is not held down the hydraulics are kinda sorry acting . Thanks for any help as always,Ray.

First hope its low fluid level... or maybe a clogged filter?

But as you know the hydro pump has a supply pump in the Transmission, no supply long enough you run the risk of burning up the main hydraulic pump. To hazard a guess sounds like ya burned up the pump and its kinda running at full flow but poopin out on ya with any kind of restricted flow. Should be making quite the racket if its burned up though.
well that didn't work
