The IQAN screen in my 2000 Cat 554 forwarder has a button that stopped working before I bought it and the guy who I bought it from was using a screw to cross it to make it work. The button override's any alarm that comes up on the screen so you can get to the screen that all the guages are on. A couple of sensors or the wiring to them aren't working so every time you start it you have to hit that button twice to get to the guage screen.  Now the screw trick wont work cause it's damaged the two contacts on the small computer board inside of the box that the screen is in. Parker hyd. made the IQAN system for this machine and Cat wants $5000 for a new screen.  The local Parker dealer called the factory and they said they didn't have any parts for it cause it was an earlier system. A local computer shop looked at the board and couldn't fix it. Anyone ever worked on one of these IQAN system' s or know where you can find parts for them?

Supposedly Milton Cat tried getting some parts from them and they didn't have anything. Did a search online and the IQAN system I have was made by Parkers European division.  Found a number to call in Sweden, gonna try that tomorrow.

The newer Rottne's also use IQAN if I remember correctly.
MHT machines also did, but I don't think there's a dealer in North America anymore.

Parker controls their market very well, and will likely only sell to dealers. Still worth a call to Sweden, someone there might actually be fixing them by now.

This had me thinking and i had somewhat the same problem with a bag phone one time the little contacts were fried from crossing them over with a piece of tinfoil when the button died. and i fixed the contacts with a kit that i got at an auto store that was for repairing the rear window defogger grid in a car don't know if the application would work for you but it works for a bit then you need to reapply

Snowstorm. No idea. Last time i was in there it was 890 forwarder screens, waratah modules, timberjack joysticks, just about anything. I will grab the contact details and get back to you. might take a couple of days

I've had the same issue with my screen and sensors in my 1999 Fabtek 133.  I've used a ball end allen wrench to cross it to get back to the gage screen for a long time and that trick has quit working.  Any new news on getting one fixed?  Running without engine monitoring is nerve wracking :)  $5,000.00 for a new one is too.

I couldn't find anyone to fix it,  even tried local computer repair shops with no luck. Sent it down to Georgia where they said they could fix it but that didn't happen. Seems the only option is Cat or Eco Log and around $5000. Your rig was built in the US so it might be a different series IQAN than what I have. I told the Cat mechanic that works on my forwarder to let me know when one like mine showed up in their yard and I'd be in to swap IQAN screens late some night! He laughed  and said that stuff like that has happened before

Not sure if it helps or not BUT, there is a guy a couple towns over that has fixed a couple dash boards (Chevy / GMC) and my Fisher Plow fish stick.  I found him on craigslist (he was advertising repairing the electronic meter for GM's) and after a couple successful repairs I asked if he'd take a look at my fish stick.  Pretty sure they are pushing $250 new and he repaired my (replaced the push type swith / solenoid) for $100.  Like I said not sure if it would work for you guys but maybe somebody close to you could do the same deal.  I'm pretty sure he's an electrical engineer by trade, and does this for side money.  Let me know and I can dig up his number if your interested (he's in southern NH).
