A neighbor asked me if I could cut him some cookies for a couple of signs he was going to make. He said he'd make one for me for the cookies. I was extremely pleased.

Yeah, definitely a good trade. It's about 18" diameter. He used a router to do the tree and letters then painted it. He put a slot in the back to hang it but I think it's a little too heavy.

Have you applied pentacryl? It would be a shame to see it crack.

No. Is that a brand name?

I looked up Pentacryl online. Is that the best place to buy it or is there possibly a local retailer that would have it?

Woodcraft or most any woodworking store sells it, but it's usually cheaper online.

I see that you can buy as little as a quart at Amazon. I believe a quart would treat your sign. But your friend may want to go together with you and buy a larger amount.

Swatson

Good trade.  I was looking at the sign he made and it almost looks like he made it free hand as none of the letters are exactly the same...not that that is a bad thing...its a good looking sign!
I cant figure out which one I like better: working with wood or making the tools to work with wood.

For a minute I was thinking chocolate chip :D you know what's on my mind.that's a really nice sign!
