Hey all- I figured I'd put this in here, since this is likely going to be one of my hang-outs on this forum. Hopefully that's OK with the moderators!

Anyway, my name is Steve, I'm a retired USAF Master Sergeant. I was a Security Forces troop (military police), sub-specialized as a weapons specialist, known in the AF as CATM (Combat Arms Training and Maintenance). In other words, a firearms instructor and gunsmith. I'm a veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan. I'm also an NRA certified rifle and pistol instructor, and a Utah state certified Concealed Firearm Permit Instructor as well. So, I'm a gun-nut.

Love my chainsaws though, and that's how I stumbled across this forum. I own a few acres in the sticks outside of Cedar City, Utah. We use primarily wood for heat, so I cut a lot of firewood each year (mostly pine and aspen) to run the woodstoves in the house and my shop. I have two saws currently: a Husqvarna 460 and a Crapsman/Poulan. Both are pretty good saws for my needs, although the Poulan needs a carb rebuild. I'm probably just going to replace it after seeing how cheap they are.

Anyway! I am glad to have found this site! It looks great, and I can see already that there is a wealth of information here.
