It was range night until I told him I would buy him a band saw for his birthday. Gun box got thrown back into the safe and off we were to the woodsmith store. :D :D

Cheap hotdogs and boxed mac and cheese is his traditional birthday meal. Don't ask me why I just show up.

All I can tell you is that it can resaw 14" cuts, and weighs over 300 lbs. ;)

We looked at 3 different one and he decided on this one.

i will try to do a proper post when i get home tonight but for now....

i have been eyeballing the Rikon 10-325 for over a year...and that is what i got.

last night it was put together.  made a little saw dust with it without many adjustments, just enought to run it a few mins.  this weekend ill be going through and making all the proper adjustments.

in my eyes we now have a mini sawmill :)
