Sawyer4fun

Hi All!

I am a new member on this forum and just wanted to say hello for now :).  I have been reading through the posts and the amount of knowledge and willingness to help others is incredible on this site!

I am currently a hobby sawyer up in eastern Ontario, using a Woodland Mills HM126, I have a good supply of logs and never ending list of uses for lumber :).  And, with any luck I will be building this into a little business once I retire.

Looking forward to learning from the experts and maybe someday being able to share some knowledge of my own!

Welcome to the Forum.  Lots of good people here and it sounds like you already have a plan to make a lot of sawdust.  Good luck, and we look forward to hearing of your adventures.

YellowHammerisms:

Take steps to save steps.

If it won't roll, its not a log; it's still a tree.  Sawmills cut logs, not trees.

Kiln drying wood: When the cookies are burned, they're burned, and you can't fix them.

Sawing is fun for the first couple million boards.

Be smarter than the sawdust
