We're in the process of putting new 16 ply Primex tires on our 450 tj skidder and were wondering if we should put tubes in right away
Any pro cons thanks in advance

What size tires are you buying ?  Everyone has thier own opinions, personally ive seen the primax tires chunk out easier than a firestone, depends on where your running them.

I would never ru a forestry tire without  a tube, my old forwarder came down from Vermont  one tire didn't  have a tube it went flat and pretty much ruined a brand new tire. If it would have had a tube it most likely wouldn't  have went flat it only took a pin hole to  then the track wrecked the tire. The cost of a tube is cheap insurance.

Many thanks guys we're going from 30×32 to 26×24? Got overall width down 14 inches and hopefully a little more maneuverability witch would be pretty nice beings we do mostly select cutting in oak and mixed hard woods

Going from 30.5x32 to 28Lx26 ? I have 24.5x32 and love them, just narrow enough I dont bang everything up. With 26" of ground clearance when I ride up on a stump I know im on something big. Other than an odd heavy drag, and reaching to far she wont pick a tire, my 440D is on 3 tires all the time. Going dual arch grapple is about the only way to go, but I still have 10 sliders just in case.  :D :D :D
