Would like to see about getting a 372xp "worked", seen a few tuned saws and I want one. Havent seen anyone around here in NY, I dont care if ive gotta ship a new powerhead someplace.

Yes  Wicked Work Saw in Tennesee,  I had them do a 395 Husky this year turned out real nice a great saw,  whoever has run it has been real impressed.  It cost $250 plus the shipping which was under $50 to ship both ways.  You can check them out on the web under Wicked Work Saw

I can recommend several guys to send your saw to.
Terry Landrum ( Wicked Work Saws ) is one of them.

Where in Northern NY are you located?

Barge Monkey,  if you want to send it down my way I will "work it over" for you really well. Just let me know if there are any specific "customizations" you really want and I will do my best to get them completed for you, won't even charge you for it.   :D

On a serious note, check with CCC4, I think I remember him talking about a custom tuned saw he had a while back.

I looked @ wicked work saws site, problem is, which one do you choose ?  :D    The term "northern ny" is a funny one, im 1 hr west of Albany basically. I can be to the adirondack park signs in 30 mins, and too my parents in the catskills in 20 mins. We should call anything within 1hr of the border "almost canada". Eh ?
Southside - I will trade you a new custom saw, just put that 490D on the trailer I send with the saw.  ;)
