Was setting up for a special project on my TK1220 and noticed one of the blade guides had been bent over at a 30 degree angle in the direction of blade travel and also away from the cutting direction and had no contact at all with the blade.  The bracket is 1/4" steel and would require a lot of force to bend. I can not imagine any scenario that could bend this guide other than impacting a log into the saw and I have never even come close to doing this.   I then noticed many teeth tips ( 20% ) were missing.  Last time i had cut was a cottonwood log of about 20" diameter with terrible results and thought it was a dull blade.  No wonder for large wavy cuts.!!

Anyone ever bend a blade guide so severly and how?

By the way, I love my saw!!!!!!

I have roller guide on my mill and every so often one of them will hit a knot hanging out and it knows them out of line. Always makes me wonder how can it knock them out so bad cause they are mount pretty solid. I push my mill threw so when I do bump them I stop right now but it still bounces them out. EZ.
