Hello ya all!  I live in the Tampa Bay area, Fl.  I am new to woodworking.  My friend is a great woodworker.  So I came across some camphor wood, I decided to dry it out.  So came here for info on solar kiln construction.  Am in the process of building one, so easy ya all say!  I am just building a mini- solar kiln, 4' x 8'.   I know I will learn a lot here.  Your info is so valuable to a green person.  I already read you reviews on chainsaws, which was great info.  Will be posting pics soon.

hELLO Raider Bill,
u asked what I do for a living.  I repair airline instruments.  Right now I work on the missile system for the F18.  Am so looking forward to retirement ( in 3yrs and 6 months)!  I love your dog picture and your philosophy (1st 50 years are hard being a kid)! You live in a beautiful part of the country.  I use to visit my in-laws, in Big Stone Gap, VA.

Keep on truckin,

Aside from being friendly there was a reason I asked what you did for a living. Many years ago I loaned a book autographed by the author Carlos Hathcock called "1 shot 1 kill" to a guy named Jules from Tampa. He is a tile setter. I'd sure like to get that book back. ;)

I've pretty much resigned myself to that but then again stranger things have happened here on the FF ;)
