Hi Folks,

My new Logrite cant hook arrived yesterday, and I have
already tried it out. It sure looks like a high quality
tool that should outlast me by a long  way!

Thanks a million Forestry Forum and Logrite for the fun
contest with a top notch prize!

Had to go and rub it in didn't you........ ;D

Been thinking about one myself and was wondering how good they are.

Timberwerks

I'm thinking of one of those for myself. Is that a solid handle or thick walled tubing?

It's thick walled tubing. I've had mine a couple months now and I can attest to the excellent quality of this tool. It's lighter than a wood handle Cant and seems to have more leverage and less flex. I believe it will be the last one i'll ever have to buy.

Logrite had a torque tester set up at the show in Richmond, VA this past June. Normally I don't put as much stress on my cants as I could, due to fear of becoming impaled on a broken handle. I had no such fears while stressing out the torque tester with the Logrite unit. I discovered that things in my body start to pop and snap long before that metal handle has any problems. I don't plan on replacing my wooden handled cants anytime soon, but I can say that the replacements will come from Logrite.

Jim,

We're glad you like it so far. Now we want to see it in action! Post some pics when you get a chance.

Enjoy!
