I have a 2005 648glll and I need to check the transmission fluid in it but I don't have a manuel so I looked online and that one told me to make sure its cold and check it ..but the dipstick tells me to check it running at an idle so I am stumped here which one is right.....Thanks again

Check it both ways and see how much difference each method gives you, then you can decide if you want to go half way, or be on the full side or the lesser side. Doubt they would be much different. ;)

Where are you located?  Go to your profile and you can put at least a general location in there for you.

Manual for your skidder is available, and would be good to have one.

The direct drive trans is supposed to be checked cold with the engine off. The torque converter trans is checked with the fluid warm and the engine running.
