What do you guys use for sawdust control? I have a vacuum gizmo that I bought with a steam boiler that was used to suck water away from steam driven equipment, and it has tremendous vacuum. I am thinking of hooking it up to my mill to draw the dust 20 feet away, make it easier to deal with. Anybody do this?

I have a smaller version of Tom's model as well. Just hooked up,(still in prototype stage,a yard vacum) to my mill, blow the sawdust 40 ft away into the corn field. Used the flex hose that I got with the planer. All 4 in piping, bigger would be better, but it's portable, and easy to handel. Lots of duct tape don't hurt none neither

I started a post a few months back on the TimberKing blower we are using to exit dust out of our mill and edger.

We've got a few glitches with the pickup at the edger but overall the system works really well.
