Patti joined a community growers association for the second year in a row. You pay a couple hundred bucks into it in the spring. Then, from spring to fall, you get a share of the vegetables. It works out to about $10 per week. Every week you get shopping bags full of veggies. Today, we got the usual tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, green beans and zucchini plus we got three ziplock bags of fresh herbs, eggs and paw paws! It's great and all organically grown. If you have one in your area, you might want to check them out if you want the fresh produce but not the hassle of pulling weeds, etc.
