Hello to all

I am new to the forum and the logging industry.
I know since ax man come on tv all kinda people have started trying to log
But we have been talking about this for years
When my father retired that we were going to start getting sinkers
We are commercial hard hat divers and licensed captains and are starting to do this on the side
I would like it to become more we have found a lot of logs cypress and pine
12-36" diameter 20-50 ft long we can pull a lot if logs at a time we have a tug and crane barge with
40tn crane have pics of some logs. We are also wanting to cut slabs our selves. If any body has some constructive criticism I would love to hear it along with advice as we really don't know a lot out the industry or the best preservation and sales of this

One note of caution. Cutting slabs from sinkers is easy compared to getting them dry. Drying degrade (cracks) can ruin your work.
