Bring it on over for the Sycamore project. That way you will have a reason to rebuild the power train too.
Two LT70s, Nyle L200 kiln, 4 head Pinheiro planer, 30" double surface Cantek planer, Lucas dedicated slabber, Slabmizer, and enough rolling stock and chainsaws to keep it all running.

That's loading them the easy way, Dodgy. And only lost a hubcap.  :D :D

Now if Magicman can pick the front of the truck up and dump er back out, you'll be all set.

Hey, at least that guy kept his back glass.

At first I though it way going to squish the cab as well.  Now, that would have been really funny! :o

I darn near died laughing watching that! I have gotten logs out of my truck by backing up really fast and slamming on the brakes but I never loaded one like that guy did!

I think I know why Dodgy was so interested in that video.  In his formative years he had a habit of leaving my tractor parked a little too close when he was felling trees.   :o  As I recall, I replaced two steering wheels and two fenders on my old Ford 4000, before he finally left home.   ;D

This reminds me of the time a customer drove a 5000# forklift on to a flatbed F-350.  We warned him not to do it.

:D :D :D :D I can't quit laughing. That's them southern loggers for ya. Good thing he had the car for brakes.
I have to confess I wasn't much better. I used a come along to raise a root ball then drop it on an early 70's F-100. Drove that poor beast to the landfill fully expecting to blow a tire on the freeway, the axle was snubbed hard against the spring blocks. Ignorance was pure bliss.

I saw one of his reletives the other day, had an 8', 30"+ Myrtle wood log strapped to one of those fold up trailers. Skid marks led to where it was parked on the shoulder missing a wheel assembly :o

Saw that today on FB was gonna put a link here too!  lol 8) 8) 8)

Back in 87 I had a 62 F1 with 392 & 3 on tree.   We were tearing off shingles from my sisters house & shoveling them into the truck from the roof.   (It has 2 foot extension sides on the bed too.)   By the time we got done (3 layers of old shingles on 2400 sf house.)   They were piled up level with the roof! ::)  It had monster back bumper on it w trailer hitch hanging down.   Caught the curb driving off yard into street & popped 30" of 4" wide V hunk of concrete curb out & barely caused a BUMP lol.     Gassing it hard probably lifted the front tires up!   drove it 15 miles to dump area where I almost slid it off a 200 foot drop into dump ravine!   Luckily they had just installed NEW RR ties staked into the bank on top hit the brakes & locked up all 4 tires skidding backward I hit the Tie popped up on top of the tie & stopped right on top... :o :o   My sister was with me & thought I was gone over the hill for sure, dang near though!
