Any opinions on how tight to go with the adjusting nut on grapple swing pins?  Going to put new friction plates in tomorrow and not sure if I should snug them up hummin tight or leave me with a little slack..?  They are the two piece ones so if not tight enough I'd think they would just fall right out??

Grapple brake should only be used as a dampner not a "brake" so it must be adjusted a little at a time to find that spot and adjusted frequently to keep that spot. If It is too tight it will destroys the brakes and hardware and too loose and those two pieces will be somewhere in the skid road. Also with two piece brake set up the plate must have an existent outer ridge to keep the brakes in place.
