Jammed logosol, I think my knives need sharpening.

Getting started on the siding for the back wall under the lean-to

Edging!

I thought I saw someone asking about log stress; here is a mild example, but as you can see my cant is still flat, so I haven't messed up any boards yet.  @Glenn1

More lumber :D  As if there is ever enough.  Love the non-distinct heart wood in Ash.

Under the lean-to

Look at that FAS 1x10, 2nd from the right ;D

Trying to get these piles dry enough to run through the logosol & make ship lap.  It's supposed to rain the next 2 days so I brought them inside.  Plus I wanted them on a nice flat surface which it's not really super flat under the lean-to.

That's all for now.... almost ready for insulation, the wiring is all roughed in, some plumbing in the walls.  2 sawmill jobs scheduled for this weekend, and I'm at work.

I can't recall off the top of my head, maybe 1/2-5/8 total.  My coverage on an 8" blank is 7-1/4", so that's not counting the tongue.  The last batch I ripped them all down to 7-3/4 to alleviate this problem and on the leading edge of the tongue you could still see some rough saw marks.  The machine is used and the knives were in it when I got it, so I'm unaware how much footage has been done with them.  I have probably run almost 3000bf through it.

Looks like the end is near and it looks good-you've done a great job!  It's been quite a ride seeing the process from start to finish.  Congrats!

Uh Oh!  I see a big mistake!  It looks like you put the clap boards on the wrong way.  :o The drawing shows horizontal. ;)

Looks fantastic! 8)

We put the wrong rock on the front too, lol. :D  Thanks for the comments. 8)  I thought it was interesting to see the mostly completed front as compared to the drawing.

Fantastic job!  You have come a loonnngggg way!

The wood stove is here!

West end no trim...

West end all trimmed out and completed.

Got to move the stairway to accommodate the wood stove.  Went from 2 landings to one large one that creates way more space on the ground.  My son is testing the limits of his courage with me egging him on.  Red oak 2x14's on the sides ;D

Now we're cookin' 8)

The siding is complete!  No pictures of the east end. ::)

Closer...  didn't trim the garage doors or entry doors yet.  I want to paint the entry doors before trim.

Staining beams upstairs, so the floor can go down.

Next... make some flooring
