We are renovating a large old house and had to pack out all the existing wall framing to match existing trim.I made up a scale sheet to drop the head 3/8'' after every pass.With the kerf loss it was about a perfect match to the lath that was installed 150 years ago.3 hours of sawing on the Lt30 yielded 3500 lf of 1/4 by2'' strips.Beats watching television and I couldn't imagine doing it on a table saw.Saw and blade performed flawlessly.
Sun felt good today,I like doin' oddball stuff!

I know what you mean I enjoy the custom aspect of these machines as well. I have had a few customers over the years that have seen the value of the time they can save, and the consistency is almost as good as finished lumber.
