My brake started being touchy, like a hair trigger, then being unable to reset it, without it holding at all. I removed the spring cover and cleaned it as much as possible, no help.  I'm reluctant to remove the handle (springs flying).

Anybody have any suggestions, or is it toast?

Thanks in advance
Harry

My 394 did the same thing. I had to take the handle off and clean the parts under it. IIRC there was gunk between the little tab under the handle and the stop it rest against.
