Got a hardwood job coming up for my processor where I need to bring the tops out for a chipper. Been thinking about building a removable heel for my forwarder to help high-pile the tops for the chipper. Did a land clearing job this past summer and a heel would have really helped to make the chip piles taller and increase production. Has anyone else ever built such a thing and did it work good?
