Hey fellas. I have another question for you guys that have experience with the AT540 in log skidders. I have operated many automatic/powershift machines but this will be my first experience with a school bus trans in a skidder. As I will be pulling the engine right away to rebuild it would it be advisable to have the trans taken down by a shop and looked over since I have no idea how much life is left in it? Would it be a good idea to add a separate trans cooler with an electric fan to insure it stays cool. I appreciate all the wealth of knowledge on this forum site and my hat is off to you guys. Thanks in advance.

if there was no slipping before I would not worry about it
