nice saw let me know how you like it I just got a 6100 and I love it I also have a 6400 and that's been a great saw too

Get a 5100 muffler and throw in place of the cat 5101 muffler.

Yeah, since you mention the muffler... does running 100LL in it hurt the converter?  That's what the dealer sells, and what they put in the saw at the shop.

The lead will coat the element rendering it useless. I'm not sure it will cause any other issues like buildup in the exhaust can. I'm not a fan of running lead fuel in handheld power equipment, as you're breathing that junk in while you work.

Seriously switch out your air filter for a felt one though.

If you put a 5100 muffler on it, make sure you can adjust the carb to compensate.

Also not a fan of 100LL in regular daily use chainsaws.
