Husky 254 info

I've got a chance at a pair of these, seller says scored pistons. I've been a Stihl guy and don't know this saw. Specs are great but I want insight from those of you who have used and worked on this saw. Basically, are they a saw worth picking up and working on if the price is right? Thank you

Real good saws good power and light! I have one somewhere kicking around that I built from two saws my father blew up in the 90s i used it for a couple years back before I started to log full time I always liked that little saw

254 is one of Husky's best kept secrets.  Awesome saw I've got 5.  Fix em you will be glad you did.
