White Echo 360T Help

I picked this one up and in looking it over I've found that the 90 degree fitting coming off the bottom plate of the carb has no line attached. I've looked at it closely and frankly, can't see where that line would go if it were there.  ??? It's the older white plastic version. Little help here? Thanks everyone!

You can find the ipl here. Looks like there were different ones for different runs of the saw. Check out the one corresponding to your saw and see if that sheds some light for you.

My best guess is, that it just is a fancy breather hole.
