Franklin 132 Xl-N Cable Skidder
« on: January 08, 2014, 02:54:56 am »
I got rid of my c5 tree farmer and picked up a 1978 franklin (bombardier) 132 xln with the 3-53 detroit, 185 franklin axles, 23.1x26 tires and a model 32 winch. I put a new master cylinder and a blade ram on it and a little random tinkering and its ready for its first day of work tomorrow. seems to be a good skidder so far i pulled a couple hitches of pine from behind my house just farting around. The only other issue i have is the brake cylinder in the winch is leaking so i may end up swapping the one from a parts winch i have. All the 132's i've seen are all forwarders does anyone run or has run the cable skidder version?
