Had to replace front idler on processor today. 4000 hrs and it's junk Komatsu said too bad, Anderson equipment wanted 1000 to change it figured I'd see what I can do took us two hours start to finish glad I did it myself.

Saved a thousand still spent 2997.50 for one front idler, better than 3997.50 I suppose.

so you get 500 an hour  :D was they coming to you or did you have to take to them  that's good money ya saved next time should only be 1hour your a pro now :D

you didnt break the track to do it? sometimes its the easier way to go. by the way the track is laying it looks like the pins have a bit of ware inside the bushings

Tracked carriers seem to go through a lot of those idlers, there are a lot of old ones laying around our shop.
