I became interested in sawmills by accident. About 5 years ago I started on a pond and dug up about 30 or so trees. I kept a huge maple that stood where my dam is now, it just seemed like a neat tree. Over time I found a retired gentleman who had a woodmizer and he said he would saw my logs for me.

Well, 4 years later and many trips back to have more logs sawn, I've got my own mill and saw as often as possible.
I made a few benches out of the last of the maple tree that got the fire started. Thought I'd post a couple of the pics.
