Barn find

[Glidden Farm]

I found this in the bottom of my barn and I think I know but not positive on what it is. My barn was owned by the biggest landowner, logging operating paper company in the area and they had lots of stuff. In its hay day where was an active blacksmith shop and a filing and blade shop on site. So I think this was a table for filing or putting set in circle blades. It has a sliding table, movable arms with rubber stops, many adjustments and othe things. It is brand new never used still has the cosmoline and paper on some parts. Anybody know for sure what it is... And does anyone need it?
