10 K.W. Generac Generator ?

Dose anyone know what the engine weight oil is I miss placed the CD. I figure its a light weight oil  ::)

Mine is about 3 years old, V-Twin Generac, I think its 10kw, I believe its 10w30, working from memory, the manual is out in the shop.

At the generac site, you can download via PDF the owners manual. Mine came with a printed manual, that I misplaced, so I downloaded and printed the whole thing off. I dont recall mine coming with a CD, yours must be newer. Ive since located the original manual.

Yes I was thinking that it was 10W30 I have a problem where I put something so I can find it then forget where I put it  :D thanks Bill.

My XG8000E calls for synthetic (5w-30 30f to 10f) , (10w - 30 10f to 40f) and (SAE30 40f to 70+f)
TimberKing 2000, 35hp Diesel, Kubota L3800 w/loader

10w30 conventional is fine unless temperature is above 85*.  Be sure to change on schedule.  Is it a noisy buggar?  The Generacs I've ran across were quite noisy.

I have mine 40 feet west of the house and I will say to my wife do you hear something then I realize the generators running. So I feel mine is pretty quiet.
