three feathers

New here and fell into a honey pot this week. I only had a Husky 435 and a couple old saws that a bar and chain cost more that they are worth. An old friend thats 83 years young gave me a nearly new little 142 Husky and a few days later a man that lives close by is moving to the city and sold me a Husky 455 Rancher for $100. No more than I use saws, I should be fixed now. :)

I actually like my 142 a lot. Done everything I have ever asked and reliable as could be. Real light too.

Congrats.
I run a 10" bar on my 142 and use it for limbing. I opened the muffler up a bit and it made a bit of a difference. I know it's not a new saw or a favorite by many. But I really like having a small saw/bar combo when all I'm cutting is a bunch of downed ash trees.

the 142 is a nice little saw,  i have a few hours with one  to clear the tops of trees and it had plenty of oomph to get the job done even on the thick branches.  but don't let it fall off the back of a pick up  :embarassed:
