POSTON WIDEHEAD

My 11 year old, Paul, took his first 8 point at 6:32 this evening.
The Deer weighed in at 201 pounds.

He was using his 243 Mossberg and dropped him like a rock from around 80 yards.

I see........some venison cube steak, battered and chicken fried, then some flour in the dripping with a bit of water to make gravy, served with rice, green peas, homemade biscuits with jelly and butter, and some cold ice tea.......... in your future  ;D.

At least that is what I see in the crystal ball.

A great moment for you and your son.
My father once said, "This is my son who wanted to grow up and become a doctor.  So far, he's only become a doctor."

The next day unloading part was nasty.  Plus, that Friday night before was one of the nastiest, hottest, most humid, nights that I can remember.  Then, Clemson triumphs.  Whew.

I want ice cream with caramel sauce and pecans  :D.

Nice buck for anyone, super nice for a kids first. I too would like to see the bolt open in the picture, treat every gun as if it was loaded. CONGRATS

POSTON WIDEHEAD

The rifle was empty. It did not have but 1 bullet in it when we loaded it in the stand.
The 1 bullet is what took the deer.
After we got out of the stand, I, myself rechecked the rifle to see was it empty.....it was.
I have removed the pic to help some sleep better .  :)

Glad you told me that. I almost went blind trying to see the gun.
