It's that most wonderful time of year!
When the leaves start to fall I spend a lot of time thinking about White Tail deer.
Archery practice, Check the rifles, take a couple of shots. Start sorting gear.
Weekend before last I took a nice (small) doe with my bow. 10th bow kill for me. Not bad as I just started bow hunting a few years ago.
I love this time of year!

Last weekend we went up to the old hunting cabin and helped our camp cook set up his blind, which we aptly christened "The Cook Shack"

Nice camo, couldn't hardly tell it was there.

It looks like it is leaning up hill but that's just the way I was standing on the slope when I took the picture.

What's that ladder leaning up against?

A funny thing, while we were putting it up a fox squirrel fell out of a nearby tree. must have bonked his noggin pretty good. He ran around in circles for a bit, then ran off sideways. Boy, I have had that feeling before.  :D

Oh yea, and me standing there with my camera, I could have taken some video, yep, could have.

Hope that, that blind, is away some from avalanche alley!!!

Looks like a real cool place to spend some time in.  :)
