 I've been able to dry these with few cracks or checks in them. Here are a few things I've made from them. I had to have the engraving done for me!  8)

Very nice CB. This type of woodwork is something new to me. I like it!
How did you work your cookies done so thin?

  I had a deal made for my radial arm saw that kinda 'planes' the cookies to thickness. It is a hub with a recessed nut and has an 8" crosscut blade mounted on it. I have a few pics of it somewhere too.

 I set this up with a sort of clamp. I used a storm door closer to pull against the tiles, this way my finners aren't close to the blade.

  Just regular varnish on those. The polyurethanes either make them real dark or too light.
