I found a good deal on a TS33. I've seen a couple of people that have them on here. I was going to replace my worn out Prentice 110 with it. I've heard they're slower. It's about a 9,000 lb loader. I wonder how that will do rear mounted. The extendable boom would be nice for brush cleanup. Anyone with any experience with these?

they are heavy and slow.  this said they are also the strongest back of cab loader I have ever been on.  you can bump up the speed a little but what they lack in speed they more than make up for in power and reach.  that 33 feet of boom will spoil you real fast.

I was able to load from one end of this pile to the other with out moving.

If i was only trucking logs to make a living it would not be the loader i would pick.  but the way i used the TS 33 it was the perfect loader for our operation. Te Danzco delimber we were using weighed 7200 lbs.  you could reach out and lift it on the truck without a second thought.  our old 110 would not even break it loose from the ground. a new Barko 80 would lift it part way but could not get it on the truck.

Theses Oak logs were lifted from about 20 feet out from the truck with no problems

I will post some more about it as i think of it

give me a call when you get time

Thanks

Like smwwoody says it is heavy and slow but power and reach are great. I ran one on a 93 Mack for 7 years and it never let me down. I hauled pulp, saw logs, brush, and anything else that I could fit on the truck. Biggest issue was laying the loader on a load and not being too high. I tried to haul 8 cord of hardwood pulp and with a load I was at least 13 feet high. Saw logs were easy and brush you just keep packing it in.
