There was a lot of different Mushrooms this past August on our trip to the cabin.
Here's a few pictures of the forest floor.
I don't know the names or which ones are good but we obviously stay away from trying them.
You can see one that was eaten by an animal.
The last 2 pictures are of the same mushroom.
I had mowed this spot just a few days earlier.  Then this massive mushroom grows and makes the famous split cookie wedge. ;D

The first may be an amanita muscaria (fly amanita) which is very poisonous .

This pic is a few years old but we get lots of these reindeer mushrooms on my farm...




Last year I did find some nice Morels
