 I have a 230 timberjack and the guy I bought it from gave me a special type oil for the eaton winch. It smells different than gear oil but looks the same I am all out of it now so I have to find the name of it. Any help would be great thanks a lot  :)

I dont remember the name,but you have to use special worm gear lube, steel worm against a bronze gear. Don

Type in Hercules winch oil in search bar on this site above, we had a good discussion not too long ago about what oil to use, dont use 80-90 gear oil.
