Okrafarmer

. . . . when somebody drives up to my sawmill, and says, "Hi, are you Okrafarmer?"

:o  :D

Yes sir, I'm Okrafarmer.

I got a surprise visit today from somebody wearing a Forestry Forum hat, and it turned out to be KyTreeFarmer and his wife! Ok, his wife wasn't wearing the hat, only he was. We had a great time. I showed them the sawmill, the ambrosia maple I was working on, the giant brick chimney I work under, and a giant sweetgum log, which I think he said was bigger than any he had ever seen before. Then we went to lunch!

Anyway, KyTreeFarmer used the Forestry Forum and my website to sneak up on me without warning. That's the kind of surprise I enjoy. Good thing I was there, and not gone to buy gas when they came!

And, to prove it happened, Mrs. KyTreeFarmer took this picture:

Never explain, your friends don't need it, and your enemies won't believe you any way.

That's really great for both of you to meet.

Another excuse to take a break and talk about sawmills and milling!

Better keep an eye on your driveway- it turns out I'm about 12 miles away from you! We might need to talk about a whack o' logs I got sittin' at my place, waiting to become lumber.
I hope my ship comes in before the dock rots!
