Si came to a Rodeo fundraiser for the Rescue Squad. I took my son Paul and had to be there a little early.
There was a crowd of people there lined up to get their picture made with Si and his autograph.
Being with the Forestry, I got to be one of the escorts. There were also County Deputies, State Constables, Firefighters and  Wildlife Personnel to get him through the crowd to the stage.

Si really has a nice RV.

No one ever sees his wife at these events. She is just not a public person.
Si does not talk a lot. Paul and I were the first people to get out pics made with him. We walked Si all the way from the RV up onto the stage to his seat. Dang PEOPLE screaming like crazy! I think we were the only ones that were not Red Necks.  :D (Right!) :D
Before his introduction to the crowd, I asked Si to please sign Paul's hunting cap for him. Si was in his chair on stage and picked up the Sharpie to sign the cap. Next thing I new, Si looks up and me and says....Hey, hey......it don't work.  :D  Sure enough the Sharpie was as dry as a bone.
They gave him another pen and he then signed Paul's cap.
We both got our pictures made with Si. No cell phone pics were allowed on stage. So in 72 hours I will be able to download our pics from a website. The Robertson's have their own camera people that follow them. For security reason, no electronic devices were allowed on stage unless it was cased on your side.

Paul was excited. I got his pic just as Si was leaving his RV. Paul is on the far right in his Si T-Shirt.

Here I am......the little Fat Boy!  ;D

Neat to hear of your adventure.

For Christmas I received a Duck Dynasty T-shirt from my grandson's and while I normally don't wear shirts with designs, I enjoy this one.  Now it's fathers day and awaking from a nap I find two posters of the Robertson clan on my wall.  Looks like a trend to me....

Si Robertson ??? ???     :P    Oh, something to do with TV. No wonder I never heard of him.

No worries. Anyone  with a beard like that is OK in my book :).

I wonder if Si would call my woodmizer a piece of junk?  Probably not the woodmizer, but all my support equipment.  LOL.

Good Church of Christ folks, you'll not see promoted.  They keep that to themselves.  I've met several other COC's in life and know them all to be good people.  I'm just a lowly Baptist.

The only difference with Baptist is, we absolutely will not talk to each other in the Liquor store.

I have been blowing duck commander calls for years, I have a couple shoeboxes full of VHS videos from the mid 90's and Phil and the boys talk and act the same in the old stuff as they do in their new shows, Which tells me that they must be real folks! Not affected by the $ or fame. Must have been neat to meet a couple of them!  8)
Not sure which came first, but I have chickens and eggs.

Mostly I'm just the plain old village idiot.  I get away with more that way, they don't suspect me  ;D.

Now that's a group picture!!!!  ;D  That is one of the few TV progams I do watch. I don't even know what day it is,or was on. I never made it a point to come in and watch it,but if it was on I would sit down and watch it. I would like to get paid and do some of the things they do. That looks like fun.
